Use of the service
PasteKit provides free tools that format, validate and convert text in your browser. You may use them for personal and commercial work. Do not attempt to disrupt the site, circumvent its security controls, or use automated tools to download it at a rate that degrades it for others.
Your content
You keep all rights to what you paste. Because processing happens on your device, we never receive your content and claim no licence to it.
No warranty
The tools are provided "as is". We work hard to make formatting and conversion correct and test them extensively, but you are responsible for checking output before relying on it in production. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from use of the tools.
Open-source components
PasteKit is built on open-source formatters including Prettier, sql-formatter, the yaml library, Papa Parse, Ruff, gofmt, clang-format, rustfmt, ktfmt, swift-format, CSharpier, StyLua, shfmt, taplo and others, each under its own licence. The PasteKit formatting core is released under the MIT licence.
Advertising
Pages may show third-party ads. Clicking an ad takes you to a site we do not control.
